Updating Your Application’s Software via USB

You can use a USB Flash Drive to transfer updated Application Software from your PC to your

printer. Save the latest application in the root directory of a USB Flash Drive.

1. Turn on the printer.

2. Plug the USB Flash Drive into the USB port on the side

of the printer.

3. Press th

e Tools button.

4. Press the Admin button.

5. Enter the Admin password then press Enter. The

default password is 1234.

6. Press USB Update.

plication Software.

If you have more than one Product Data file stored on your USB Flash Drive, select the

file you want to install then press OK.

Installation may take several minutes. When the update is complete, the printer

restarts.
